We also provide security guards under our company Teksa Protection Services (Pty) Ltd. The security officers deliver site specific services as directed by our management. Teksa Protection Services (Pty) Ltd management team exercises control and supervision over security guards to ensure effective minimization of risks at the client's premises.

Security officers have to protect the interest of the client and control measures are put into place to ensure this. Incidents are immediately reported by the security officer to the Shift Manager. The Shift Manager investigates the matter and provides the findings to our management team. Our management will then further investigate the incident, if required, and compile an Incident Report to discuss with the client. Because of this, the client gets a better insight regarding incidents and problems which occurred. Security officers are responsible for access control. This entails the screening of persons who want to enter the site and escorting/directing persons to their destination within the site. The company rules are also enforced by the security officer. The security officer's job description is compiled in conjunction with the client in order to meet the client's specific requirements and needs. Our security officers abide by strict rules and adhere to the responsibilities awarded to them.

MIE Background Screening

We are a Certified agent for MIE to utilize the IDECO AFISwitch Criminal enquiry service that is linked to the SAPS automated finger identification system. The service can confirm whether a person has a criminal record or not within 48 hours. The AFISwitch transmit captured fingerprint templates directly to the SAPS AFIS for identification purposes. AFISwitch then delivers an illicit activity status report to the client. AFISwitch provides accuracy and speed over conventional paper-based services.
